Code Your Own Video Games

Learn to use Unity Game Engine video game design.  Gain the skills to participate in the 2018 Global Game Jam, January 26-28th at SUNY Broome.

Workshops taught by professional software engineers working in local simulation companies & coached by Binghamton University Computer Science students.   Learn the basic principles of Unity - free game design software - and work in teams to design a game.  Workshop fee includes pizza lunch, beverages, snacks.

Jan 15th workshop held 10 am - 4 pm at TechWorks!, 321 Water Street, Binghamton, North entrance.  BRING YOUR OWN COMPUTER with Unity software loaded in advance.   Here's the link for software download:

Note that Unity software does not operate on tablets or Chromebooks; your computer needs to be equipped with a Duo Core processor and graphics card to use Unity.

Unity is the software of choice for gamers participating in the 2018 Global Game Jam, to be held at SUNY Broome, Applied Technology Building, January 26th-28th.  Code your butt off from Friday evening until Sunday evening - when at 5PM your game is uploaded to share with the world.
